Revolutionary rework ideas

Put down ideas for things you believe need/should get major overhauls/reworks

Basically just big/massive ideas for how something that exists in the game currently could be changed

an example could be what you think a Arcanium rework could be like due to how disappointing it is currently while wishing the new devs good luck in making it not suck

Idea I've thrown around the forums a couple times involving awakenings and them not actually being cannon lore wise despite the gameplay/specific story quest treating it as if it was

Your stats now never get locked upon reaching that specific story point

Instead you gain the extra abilities based on where you placed your stat points

125 is the current awakening level [250 stat points]
250 is where I’d guess the 2nd awakening happens [500 stat points]

with 250 points, in Magic or strength, you would get 2nd fighting style, with 250 is weps/spirit you would obtain their current buffs for being a pure build

Optionally 125 may be put between 2 different stats, unlocking imbuements between those 2 stats

with 500 points, well there would be 3rd magic/fs alongside their extra buff, + whatever weapons/Spirit obtain
You may also put 250 in 2 different stats, gaining both the imbuements + the 2 separate buffs for having put 250 in those stats
you may also put 125 in 4 stats, possibly gaining imbue stacking as the original planned 2nd awakening for Savants
You could even put 250 in 1 stat and 125 in 2 other stats, gaining 2 different imbues alongside whatever buff the main stat gave you

Balancing issues, idk, this might be needed in such a system, and it might not be.

If imbuements are obtained, the other bonuses for focusing a single stat may require like +50-150 more than normal (like 125 in 2 stats could increase the requirements for a single stat buff from 250 to like 300, and with the 500 stat guessing for pure builds, would be increased to like 600 or 650 if imbuements are obtained)

Also for wep, since it’s 250 bonus is just a pure stat increase to weapons, that bonus would prob just act as it’s own unique imbue (The speed, damage & Size buff would get disabled or reduced when imbued by a magic or fs, so you’d also need to choose which weapons or whatever you want to actually get imbued with a status effect and which one can keep it’s pure stat increase)

Though i honestly hope extra balancing wouldn’t be needed there since you would also have significantly reduced access to the higher end abilities and skills depending on just how many stats you are trying to split between

Now for something to actually be more immersive instead of just being artificially locked to these specific stats being denied the ability to practice more stats in specific number combinations upon reaching a specific level

Like realistically we’d be able to learn just abt everything if the character put the time and focus on practicing it instead of arbitrarily being locked to specific stat combinations or being punished for not putting enough in one place (like savants losing access to an imbuement if not enough is put in that stat[1])

  1. Though considering my current rework/overhaul idea, that change wouldn’t really be felt at all until a much higher level since you would need a much higher stat investment initially to obtain the imbues, but you would no longer be capable of losing it when neglecting to increase the stat ↩︎

There should be classes you start with. More so the classes should be on more equal footing. Let strength have crash at 0 or maybe at level 10 I never understood why mages get blast and other classes get shafted. I’d also want to be able to choose a starting weapon.

Also bring back class names instead of awakening names. Awakening names are confusing and hurt buildmaking. When you’re making the build it’s good to know what your stat points are making your build into. If you put 50% into weapons and 50% into magic then choose "Warriors Aura" because it sounds cool then you’d have ruined your build for nothing. Either make the awakenings more clear or change it back. Also notice how nobody calls a build by its awakening name they call it by the class? I just think it was a bad change.

This one is kind of crazy and goes against the lore but I think it’d be interesting to have the spirit path be kind of a skill tree that unlocks more abilities and you choose your godsoul at the beginning of the game. You choose between the big 3 Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. Or maybe you choose between different gods since the big 3 are dead. It’d be cool if you chose between gods lower on the pantheon, like the gods are making a last stand and choosing champions that can save the world. Maybe Nyx, Nike, and Selene? I don’t know what it would do but it’d be cool.

was already done in v1.21.40 (it’s 10 now)

Remove classes
All shall reach savanthood
All shall be equal under gravity warlord

What i’ve done is basically the same thing

@BiologLOL go my friend

I have actually never done a class-related suggestion yet, since I haven’t seen a problem in those - mostly bc I don’t change mine a lot, so I’m not an expert yall should be asking about this topic.

As for this… Well…

Hand-picked the ones I deemed most important.

Aside from this one. I didn’t make it into a suggestion though.
